Obituary

EDGAR ARISTIDES OSORIO, age 75, passed away Tuesday, December 29th at his home after a prolonged illness with kidney disease. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador C.A. and received a degree in accounting from the Cervantes College in San Salvador. Edgar worked most of his life as an accountant and book keeper. Edgar and his family moved to Los Angeles California in 1974 and has been living in Irving Texas for the past 27 years. Our father has left the prison of his physical body and begun his journey in the afterlife. We have been blessed to have been part of his life and have shared joys and sorrows together. Papi, our source of strength, taught us that integrity, justice, patience, faith, courage, empathy, hope and love are virtues to cultivate and have. He said, "when I go do not cry and know ahead of time that I am free to be with you forever; do not be sad but celebrate my parting, my soul and spirit live beyond the physical realm, our soul transcends this three dimensional prison. Enjoy life, live life, take both good and bad with a sense of humor and always remember that this too shall pass and the only thing that you take with you is the love you have given". We love you from here to eternity Papi! Your love showed us a glimpse of the greatness of God and God's infinite love for all of us. If a human father can be good and give good things to his children then how much greater is our Heavenly Father This is the legacy you left us with and we have been blessed to carry it on to our next generations. Edgar is survived by his wife of 56 years Rosa Lilian Osorio (Ne Zetino) of Irving, Texas; son Douglas Aristides Osorio of Irving, Texas; daughters Lilian Jeannette Lucas and husband James Michael Lucas residents of Grand Prairie, Texas and Carol Irene McKey and husband Jay William McKey residents of Denton, Texas; grandsons Ryan Constantine Lucas and James Alexander Lucas of Grand Prairie, Texas; granddaughters Ingrid Kassandra Osorio Anzaldua and husband Anthony Taylor Anzaldua of Grand Prairie, Texas, Maegan Lilian Rose McKey, Hannah Marie Rose McKey and Mia Beverly Rose McKey of Denton, Texas; great grandsons Elijah Anthony Anzaldua and Liam Alexander Anzaldua of Grand Prairie, Texas; mother-in-law Mara Irene Butler of Los ngeles, California.
