DR. FRESCA GODOY, age 80, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas since 1981, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas. Born January 28, 1931 in San Manuel, Philippines, she was the daughter of Antonio and Cecilia Cellona. Fresca was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. She is survived by her daughter, Filipinas Villacorta and husband Oscar of Grand Prairie; son, Boyet and wife Bing Godoy of Grand Prairie; five grandchildren, O.J. Villacorta and wife Nyssa Jaine, Kevin Villacorta, Rachelle Ivy Bowlin and husband Arnold, Gerard Godoy and Nikko Godoy; three great grandchildren, Arianna Ivy Bowlin, Andrei Bowlin and Hayden Jaine Villacorta. A Wake will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne, Irving with Rev. Msgr. Jerome Duesman as presider.
