Dorothy L. Bone, 75, of Paradise, Texas, died Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Wise County Medical Center in Decatur. Born January 27, 1947 in Midland, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Delbert Leroy Woodrum and Ibalene Elvada Bates Woodrum. She married James M. Bone August 12, 1965 in Midland. She was a retired insurance agent and had lived in Paradise for the past 39 years. She was a member of Grace Fellowship there. Preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Ibalene Woodrum; two brothers, Bruce and Danny Woodrum; and her husband James M. Bone November 27, 2020, she is survived by her children, Karen Lester and husband Drue of Frisco, Kimberly Bone and husband Owen of Sturgis, South Dakota; Robert Harris and wife Gayle of Irving; Derek Bone and Christopher Bone both of Paradise; a sister Diane Davlin and husband Shawn of Dallas; a step-daughter Belinda Bone of Newport, Tennessee; several grand and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday August 11, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving 75062. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Cottondale Cemetery near Boyd, Texas (FM 2123). Rev. Michael Ramirez will officiate. SERVICES
