DORIS C. HEATHERLY SISK, age 64, a resident of Mesquite for 17 years, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas. Born May 7, 1947 in Hawthorne, California to Burl George Heatherly and Mabel Victoria Hisaw Heatherly, she moved to the Dallas area in 1948. On September 21, 1978, she married Erwin John Sisk in Dallas. Preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister, Ruth Ann Davis, survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Chadwick and husband William of Mesquite; and her granddaughter, Alexa Chadwick who Doris loved dearly and spent much time with. Also surviving are her brother, Bob Heatherly and wife Saundra of Euless; and five nieces and nephews. Graveside service is 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving with Dr. Brent Taylor officiating.
