DORIS ELAINE (WILSON) JONES, age 86, a resident of Irving for 37 years, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. Born March 19, 1926 in Denison, Texas, she was the daughter of Frederick Williams Wilson and Margaret Sopha Roberts Wilson. On January 14, 1949, Doris married Bob Jones in Greenville. He preceded her in death in 2007. A homemaker, she was a member of Village Baptist Church in Irving. Survivors include her children, Bobby Dayle Jones and wife Sheila of Roanoke, Virginia, Vicki Webb and husband Gary of Irving, Steven Jones and wife Anna of Apollo Beach, Florida and Melissa Dillow and husband Frank of Wylie; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Service is 12 noon, Friday, March 1 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Jenkins officiating. Final resting place will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
