DORA TORRES, age 83, of Dallas, formerly of Irving, died Monday, September 19, 2011 at her home. Born April 19, 1928 in Dallas, she was the daughter of Refugio and Femina Garza Olivo. She married David Torres April 1951 in Dallas. He preceded her in death October 18, 2001. Survivors include her children, Virginia Castillo of Murphy, TX, Rudy Torres of Coppell, Joann Cabrera of Irving, William Torres, Dolores Alonzo, and Janet Ybarra all of Dallas; a brother Santos Olivo of Sachse, TX; and sisters, Virgie Brito of Irving and Anastacia Garza of Taylor; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home 7:00 p. m. 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Drive, Dallas, Texas. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving
