Dolores Robinson, a long-time resident of Irving, Texas, died on Monday, January 20, 2020 in Irving at the age of 89. She was born on October 7, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Earl Woodruff and Mary Vera (Walker) Choate. Dolores was a senior executive secretary for most of her working life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Irving, Texas. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Lavonne Wallace and brother, James Walker Choate. Survivors include four children: Clifford Robinson and wife Cathy of Denton, Melanie Skidmore and husband Mike of Grand Prairie, Diane Kuzniar and husband Randy of Mauldin, South Carolina, and Valerie Roper of Aledo, Texas; eight grandchildren, Amy Jordan, Brian Humphrey and wife Yami, Joey Robinson and wife Allison, Brandon Rockhill and wife Carolina, Alex Kuzniar and wife Blake, Rusty Roper and wife Rochelle, Aaron Roper and wife Brittany, Katie Philpott and husband Colten; eight great-grandchildren, Luke Rockhill, Delaney Jordan, Karson Roper, Caden Roper, Abby Roper, Michael Kuzniar, Aria Robinson and Lynden Philpott; and sister, Mary Frances Choate of Dallas. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 10:00 11:00 a.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas. Reverend Wayne Watkins will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes, Alzheimer's, or Kidney Foundations. SERVICES
