Dieudonne Nzengu Sapu, 64, of Irving, Pastor and Leader of the City of Refuge Carasmatic Communities in Irving and around the world, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020 in a Dallas hospital. Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he has extensive education in linguistics and a Doctorate in Philosophy. He moved to Irving eight years ago. Leaving to mourn his death is his wife Sophie Kabena; his children, Tresor Nzengu and wife Stell Mwenga, Elie Nzengu, Grace Nzengu, Sarah Nzengu, Merveille Nzengu and Loise Nzengu; one grandchild Gunia Nzengu; and seven brothers. Services will be Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Gateway of Deliverance Church, 1715 N. Britain Rd,. Irving, Texas. He will then be buried in his home country.
