Diana Joyce Stewart went to be with Jesus on October 24, 2020, where she was greeted in heaven by a welcoming party that included her son Scott, many family members, and friends that love her dearly.
During her 90 years on earth, she consistently shared her faith and her radiance made the world a better place.
Born in McCook, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Harold and Charity Livingston, she moved to Grand Prairie with her family in 1969. She then became an active member and a leader at First Presbyterian Church.
She loved to sing in the choir, teach Sunday school, and is best known for sending 20 to 25 handwritten cards every month to people she loved.
Diana was also a Registered Nurse, wife of Mack Stewart for 62 years and her family includes her children Karen Stewart, Paul Stewart, Bruce Stewart, Scott Stewart, Joni O'Neal, and her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Diana's "Life Celebration" is planned for 1:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2020, at First Presbyterian Church, 310 South West Third Street, in Grand Prairie. After the service, the inurnment will be at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens Gazebo, 3001 South Beltline in Grand Prairie 75052.
