DENNIS B. WILLIAMS, age 74, a resident of Irving since 1952, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his home. Born September 28, 1941 in Tucson, Arizona, he is the son of the late Vance Robert Williams and Dorothy Elizabeth Priser Williams. He graduated from Irving High School, Bryan College in Tennessee and received his Masters degree from the University of North Texas. A former teacher in the Berean Academy, he was a librarian at the Irving Public Library for over 25 years. He had served in the U S Navy and was a member of Community Bible Church. He married Lyn Boozer August 17, 1973 in Irving. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Pam Stover and brother Robert Williams, he is survived by his wife Lyn; daughter Joanna Garcia of Conroe; son Aaron Bruce Williams and wife Brenda of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Madison, Kayla, Che, Coby, Chloe, Aaron and Rihanna; three nephews, Richard Fisher, Judd Fisher, and Robby Williams; a niece Jamie Wells; his mother-in-law, Anna Boozer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Wendy Boozer, Kenneth and Karen Boozer, Bonnie McSwain, Linda Williams, Marie Boozer and Jim Legg; and several other nieces and nephews on the Boozer side of the family. The family received friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home. The burial was Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Community Bible Church. Pastor Steven Nutter officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Bible Church or to the Berean Memorial Church, 1000 East 6th Street, Irving, Texas 75060. SERVICES
