It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Dennis Lee White, age 70, formerly of Irving, Texas. He passed away peacefully Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Cedar Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Pilot Point, TX.

Dennis was born on May 14, 1956, in Dallas, TX, he was the son of Richard White and Patricia "Pat" Jenkins White. Dennis graduated from Nimitz High School, Irving, TX in 1974. And then graduated from North Texas Central College. Dennis worked for Microsoft for many years then worked for Peterbilt until his retirement.

Dennis is a very proud Tribal member of the Cherokee Nation, as is his whole family. He carried with him the values of family, hard work, and kindness throughout his life, touching the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard White. Dennis will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family: his son, Dakota White, mother, Patricia "Pat" White; brothers Rick White and Gary (wife, Trina) White; and seven nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway. Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am until the time of service at the chapel.
