DEMA MILLER, age 83, a resident of Irving since 1952, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in a Dallas hospital from complications of West Nile virus. Born August 28, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Jay Hugh Roberts and Bessie Yates Roberts, she married William Charles Miller, Jr. on October 15, 1945 in Dallas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. Preceded in death by her son, Bruce Carl Miller on July 19, 2012 and by her long time pet schnauzer, Max, survivors include her husband, William of Irving; daughter, Debra Lynn Steadman and husband Brian of Valley View; son, Gregory Charles Miller and wife Rosalyn of Irving; grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Mason Miller, Blake King, Dakota King, Amanda Miller and Nealy Cox; great grandchildren, Sydney Cox, Bella Miller and Tristan Miller. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Interment service is 10:15 a.m., Friday, August 24 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane B, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
