DELORES MEADOWS, age 84, a resident of Irving, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at her home. Born September 24, 1929 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Hugh Alfred Bradshaw and Rita Marie Hembree Bradshaw. Delores lived in Oklahoma until she was a young adult and then resided in California until her husbands retirement. A homemaker, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Meadows on February 17, 2001 and by her brother, Robert, and two sisters-in-law. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Deen of Livingston and Kathleen Marie Meadows of San Diego, California; son, Kevin Ray Meadows of El Cajon, California; grandson, Jay Scott Perkins and wife Janelle of Grapevine; great grandchildren, Jaylyn Dawn Perkins and Joshua Jayden Perkins; brother, John Bradshaw of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Committal service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 4 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
