Deborah (Debbie) Lynne Artrip Harris, 64, of Cedar Hill, TX, passed away on August 27, 2019. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Thirel Charles Harris Jr. and her father William Edward Artrip. Debbie is survived by her daughter Michelle Harris, daughter Teresa Harris and grandchildren Veronica Hardison and Nicole Hardison, daughter Deborah (Debbie)Kay Harris Bruner and son-in- law Gerald Bruner and grandson Preston Bruner, mother Edith Marie Blanton and step-father Harold Blanton, brother Eddie Artrip, sister Beverly Bowers, brother Donnie Artrip, and many loving nieces and nephews. Debbie grew up in Huntington, WV and Lexington, KY, but graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, TX. She then went to work at Firemans Fund Insurance (Dallas Office, Atlanta Office and St. Paul Office) beginning in 1975. Her last place of employment was AmTrust in Dallas, TX. A memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at The Chapel of Calvary Church, 4401 N. Hwy 161 in Irving followed by a voluntary dinner and socialization at Spring Creek BBQ in Irving. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Debbies name to the American Heart Association. Because lots of blood was given to Debbie, the family also requests that you consider making a blood donation at your local donation center in her memory. SERVICES
