David Edison Roberts, II, of Euless, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Grapevine, Texas. He was born on May 22, 1969 in Irving to David Edison and Janelle Hedy (Wells) Roberts. David married Cindy Smith on August 1, 1998. He was an Engineer for the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine. He loved to fish, hunt, shoot and was an avid motorcycle rider. David is survived by his wife Cindy of Euless; four children: David Carl Roberts and wife Kristen of Euless, Lindsey Ann Roberts and husband Chris of Ft. Worth, Leighanne Marie Goodman and husband Wes of Grapevine, Shannon Elaine Goodman of Euless; six grandchildren, McKenna, Dawson, Heidi, Rylee, Trenton, and Kayla; parents, David and Janelle Roberts; sisters, Barbara Charles and husband Steve of Red Oak, Lisa Ponikiewski and husband Richard of Irving, Kim Schroeder and husband Tom of Corinth; nieces and nephews, Rachel and husband Josh, Dustin and wife Melinda, Brian and wife Amanda, Karlee and husband Sawyer; great niece and nephew, Adalyn and Mason. The family received friends on Monday, April 17 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 18 in the funeral home Chapel. Pastor Bill Brooks officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cook Childrens Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children in Davids name.
