David Edward Kidwell was born in Fairfax, Virginia May 24, 1940. He passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Baylor Scott White Hospital in Irving. David has lived in Irving for more than 40 years. He worked for Fairfax County Schools for 25 years, Dallas County Schools for five years and he retired from the Irving Independent School District in 1993. David was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalyn Makely. Left to Cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years, Linda Kidwell; children, Teresa Everts and husband Kenny of Beulah, Colorado, Debbie Nelson and husband Lyell of Murphy, Texas, Pam McLean and husband Mike of Mansfield, Texas, Kris Wagoner of Honolulu, Hawaii, Judi Bullach of Ashburn, Virginia and David Kidwell and wife, Kay of Mansfield, Texas; his grandchildren: Steven Nelson, T.J. Nelson, Michael McLean II, Laura McLean, Kane Kidwell, Carson Bullach, Logan Bullach, Lily Wagoner, and Keane Kidwell; Great Grandchildren Michael McLean III and Adalee McLean There will be a "Celebration of Life", 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Hilton Gardens, 2001 Valley View Ln (Valley View and Hwy 183) Irving, TX 75061. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Alhzeimers Association in his name. Services have been entrusted to the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving SERVICES
