David Scott Carroll, Sr. was preceded in death by his son, David Scott Carroll, Jr., and is survived by his parents, Ms. Annie Carroll of Irving, TX. and Mr. & Mrs. Marshall Carroll of Garland, TX.; son Austin Carroll; sister and brother-in-law Mr. & Mrs. J G Ferrell of Arlington, TX, brother Marcus Carroll of Grand Prairie, TX, and niece Margaret Coleman of Grand Prairie, TX. Born January, 2, 1967 in Dallas, he died October 5, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. David was a 24 year employee of Alamo Car Rental and was a master mechanic. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed riding his Harley to camping trips in Utah and Northern Nevada. David leaves extended family and friends that will miss his sense of adventure and his tender heart. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Nat Pugh of Irving Bible Church will officiate.
