DAVID G. ALLEN, SR., age 69, a resident of Irving, Texas since 1981, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his home. He was born November 2, 1940 in Norfolk, Virginia to Archie Franklin Allen, Sr. and Elsie Hargrove Allen. Survived by wife Jean; son David G. Allen, Jr. and wife Rebecca; daughter, Lori D. Allen and companion, Vik Malkani; three grandchildren; a brother, Archie Allen, Jr. and wife Linda. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church of Irving. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
