DAVID ADAMU, age 66, a resident of Dallas since 1998, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Medical City Dallas Hospital. Born July 6, 1946 in the Republic of Cameroon, he was the son of Sawa Adamu and Lydia Bozi. David was a member of the Mimosa Lane Baptist Church in Mesquite. Survivors include his wife, Constance Adamu of Dallas; eleven brothers and sisters; and his step-mother, Sarah Fomunyam. The family will receive friends 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rocky Pope officiating. Burial will be in Mbengwi, Momo Division, NW Region, Cameroon.
