Obituary

Darrin L. Turner was born March 30, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of James "Jim" Turner and Glenda McDaniel Turner. He passed away Tuesday, September 19th at his residence in Irving. Darrin loved his family and was very protective of them. He also loved his country and served 4 years in the Navy. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a gamer. He was a history buff and an avid reader of anything history and wars including the bible. He loved watching football and baseball. He was a huge fan of OU, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. And all though he preferred to watch games alone (because he was a passionate fan) he would always call his dad to talk about the game and how they performed. Oh, and he was a dog person. There was not a dog he didnt like and vice versa. He was a great big brother. We miss you and love you but know you are in the presence of our creator. He was preceded in death by his; mother, Glenda Turner. Left to cherish Darrins memory is his father, James "Jim" Turner; sister, Tammy (husband, Jack) Nulty; niece, Brooklynn (husband, Hunter) Bolton; nephew, Jack (wife, Alissa) Nulty; great niece, Liz Bolton and great nephew, Fisher Bolton, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4th at the Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Home in Irving, TX.
