CYNTHIA J. MILLER, age 74, a resident of Irving since 1968, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving. Born September 8, 1938 in Fairmont, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Robert M. Sheets and Madeline Megna Sheets. An Irving Chamber of Commerce member, Cynthia was the former owner of Irving Florist and Cindys Bridal Boutique for 30 years. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert M. Sheets, survivors include her daughter, Debbie Shea and husband Michael of Irving; son, Gary Shafferman and wife Terri of Flower Mound; step-son, Duane Miller and wife Lori of Salado; step-daughter, Rhonda Mayfield and husband Michael of Quinlan; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Paul Sheets and wife Judy of West Virginia; sister-in-law, Bonnie Sheets of Lewisville; and Barney Miller. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 15 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A memorial service was held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16 in the funeral home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
