Corinne Bumgarner, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed into the arms of her Savior on August 30, 2024. Corinne is survived by her loving daughter; Patti (Dennis) Kelley, 2 sons-in-law; Tommy (Darlene) Attikisson, and Bennie (Linda) Holloway; sister-in-law Linda Bumgarner; 5 grandchildren; Brandon Harrell, Angela (Rodney) Byers, Brad (Marjie) Holloway, and siblings, Kevin and Stacy Attkisson; great grandchildren; Alicia Byers, Jonathan (Natalie) Byers, and siblings Jordan and Darius Taylor; 1 sister; Lowayne(John) Arnquist; 1 nephew; David (Kelly) Arnquist, 1 niece; Ingrid (George) Yorkis. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob (Grace) Larson, loving husband of 31 years Frank Bumgarner, son; Bob Ramsby, 2 stepdaughters; Beverly Holloway and Darlene Attkisson, stepson Rusty Bumgarner, niece Kari Arnquist, brother-in-law Don Bumgarner, and step grandson Chris Bumgarner. Corinne was born February 10, 1937, to Robert (Grace) Larson in Chicago, IL. Her professional secretarial skills had her working at DFW Airport Planning and Engineering, Dillards (part time for fun) and LTV where she retired in 1992. Once retired, Frank and she traveled in their RV throughout the glorious USA for over 25 years. Corinne was a resident of Arlington and Irving, Texas and other surrounding metroplex areas for over 48 years. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church of Irving. Corinne played the piano with elegance at home, every holiday gathering, and when requested by her Church. Corinnes faith in Christ never wavered, even in the midst of trials and grief. She always looked forward to being in the presence of Jesus and her other loved ones when her life here on earth was completed. Corinne was a beautiful elegant woman who will be missed by her family immensely. Although we can't see her anymore, she will remain in our memories and her love will forever surround us, until we meet again Graveside services for Corinne Bumgarner, 87, will be 11:30 am, Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Dallas - Forth Worth National Cemetery, Family and friends may visit Friday, September 27th from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home in Irving.
