Conrado Paz Cantu, 57, of Irving, TX, passed away on February 4, 2022, in Irving, TX. Viewing will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 (2pm - 9pm) and Sunday Feb 13, 2022 (2pm - 9 pm) at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062, followed by burial at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX. Conrado Paz Cantu was born in Dallas, TX to Evarista Paz Cantu and Ignacio Cantu on January 11, 1965. He went to school in Dallas, TX. Conrad was a corporate limo driver and an amateur radio operator. Conrad was a devoted father and grandfather to daughter Eva Cantu and her two children. Conrad raised his daughter with patience, humility, and loyalty. He taught his daughter to work hard, never take handouts and to be independent. Where you saw one, you knew the other wasnt far behind. Conrad helped to take care of his grandchildren until he was no longer able to due to his illness. He was a proud American Patriot and believed strongly in the right to bear arms. Conrad was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved riding his motorcycle and visited Las Vegas as often as he could. Conrad was a loyal friend and confidant to many. He will be greatly missed. Conrad was preceded in death by his Mother Evarista Paz Cantu. His blessed life will forever be cherished in the lives of his daughter, grandchildren family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Eva Cantu, Stepson Juan Lopez, Stepdaughter Yosabel Gutierrez, Uncle Gilbert Paz, cousins Mary Helen Hernandez, Ester Vargas, Scott Paz, and Lupillo Paz, Grandchildren Iris Cantu Martinez and Zachary Cantu Martinez Pallbearers will be Thorne Hilborn, Robert Hilborn, Juan Lopez, Junior Arizmendi, Steve Navarez, Jay Urish.
