CHARLOTTE "CHARLY" RIVAS, age 68, a long-time resident of Irving, died Monday, September 28, 2015 in Flower Mound. Born October 5, 1946 in Texarkana, Texas, she is the daughter of James Robert Nelson and the late Thelma Elise Swift Nelson. An entrepreneur, Charly dealt in design, arts, and crafts. She was Presbyterian in faith. Survivors include a son, Kevin Rivas and wife Katrina of Flower Mound; a daughter, Evie Earley and husband Michael of Irving; her father, James Robert Nelson of Texarkana; brother, Jim Nelson of Texarkana; and niece, Holly Scholl and husband Jeremy; and nephew, Justin Nelson and wife Amanda.
