Charlotte Marlene Portwood, 85, a long-time resident of Irving, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Medical City North Hills. Born March 21, 1937 in Fredericksburg, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Donald Rockwell and Margaret Ideus Rockwell. She served in the U S Navy January 31, 1957 until July 25, 1958. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and practiced for forty-five years in healthcare. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church. Survivors include three sons, John Portwood, Raymond Portwood, and Erik Portwood; a daughter Tina Grantham; three grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Rockwell, Jack Rockwell; and a sister Iris Barr.
