Charlotte R. "Mom" Jenson, age 88, a resident of Irving since 1965, died April 24, 2022. Born February 16, 1934, in Coleman, Texas, she was the daughter of Eddie Rowe and Thursa Alma Tankursley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Edwin Jenson, her parents, and a brother. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Jenson, a son Dan H. Jenson, and a daughter Shannon Putano; three grandchildren, Amy Renee Lanford, Randall Kyle Massingill, and Stephanie Nicole Massingill; four great grandchildren, Emilyann "Emmy" Marie Woolsey, Amy K. Harrington and husband Zane, Lee Samuel Lanford, Alex Wurtz; and a sister Eula Rae Lovvorn. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader. She had many wonderful friends that filled her life with fun and laughter. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. Grady King will officiate. Private Inurnment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. SERVICES
