Carolyn Heitmann, age 78, passed away November 22, 2023. Born in Linden Texas on July 13, 1945 to Ruby Lee (Sewell) and Reno King. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, who later in life enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their sporting endeavors. From watching Logans hockey games and rodeo events to cheering for Bailey and her teammates at soccer and volleyball games. Carolyn loved her pets, often referring to them as her (other) grandchildren. She enjoyed country western dancing and the rhythm of a good song. She was not one to be trifled with, valuing honesty in herself and others. She is survived by her daughter, Sonia Heitmann; son, Mike Heitmann and his wife Heather; brothers, Randall Shipp and his wife Carrie, Larry Shipp and his wife Susan; granddaughter, Bailey Heitmann and grandson, Logan Heitmann. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 28th at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX. SERVICES Committal Service
