Carol L. Beyerstein, 62, a resident of Irving since 1984, passed away into the healing arms of her Savior on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Vitas hospice. Carol was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 31, 1951, and raised in Anahuac, Texas. She was the daughter of Roy E. Dobbs and Margie Dean Dobbs. Carol is survived by two children, Jason Luke Beyerstein, and Lisa Marie Beyerstein Sadler (husband Brandon) of Irving, and by three siblings, Linda Dobbs Willis (husband Ronnie Willis and daughter Amanda) of Grapevine, Bill Dobbs (wife Jean and children Sarah and Spencer) of Galveston, and Susan (Dobbs) Curling (husband Patrick and children Pat, Shelagh and Emily) of Houston. She was Head Cheerleader, Spanish Queen, Class Favorite, and FFA Sweetheart at Anahuac High School. She loved her family, her cat, Johnny, and the Lord. Carol succumbed to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, but faced death with courage and the strength of her devout Christian faith. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21st at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving, TX. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. God rest her soul.
