Carol Francis Argenbright was born on March 24, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to James and Miriam Leathy with twin sister, Kathryn Tarver. Carol passed away on March 10, 2017 at her home in Irving, Texas from complications of COPD. She married Doyle Argenbright on November 22, 1951 at Lackland Air Force Base in Lackland, Texas and they traveled over the world until their retirement from the USAF. Carol was a housewife until her children were grown, then pursued a career as a cook and dietician. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Carol Schober; great-grandson, Gabriel Estrada; daughter-in-law, Glenda Argenbright. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Doyle Argenbright Sr.; children: Doyle Argenbright, Jr. (Brenda); son-in-law, Dan Schober; Karen Dunn (Phillip); James Argenbright (Debbie); Jesse Argenbright (Cynthia); Sandra Sheets (Mike). She loved immensely and was especially proud of her 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral services will be at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home on Friday, March 17 starting at 11:00 a.m. with burial at DFW National Cemetery to follow.
