Carol Rose Alfieri, 79 of Irving TX went to be with her Lord Jan 14th 2012 after an extended illness. She was born in Montreal Canada in 1932, and married her soul mate, Tino Alfieri in 1956, with whom she shared over 54 years of life and love, and raised four children. Carol and her husband Tino owned and operated The Old World store in Dallas Texas for over 40 years. She was an accomplished business woman, and her business was her pride and joy. Carol was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Tino Alfieri, and is survived by her children, Angela Cannon and husband Ken Cannon, Lisa Alfieri and husband Bruce Sifford, Mark Alfieri and wife Christine Alfieri, and Guy Alfieri and wife Susan Alfieri, by her grandchildren, Chad Kennemer, Colby Kennemer, Kaylin Kennemer, Michael Alfieri, Kristina Alfieri, Matthew Alfieri, Caroline Alfieri, Christopher Alfieri, and Lillian Alfieri, and by her canine friend and faithful companion, Beau. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her deep spiritual nature, and as the loving and devoted mother and grandmother she was. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Church of the Incarnation, University of Dallas, Irving Texas.
