BUDDY CHILDERS, age 81, a resident of Irving for 65 years, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. Born December 20, 1930 to Cecil Lee Manning and Bessie Lena Fesmire Manning in Memphis, Tennessee, she married J. W. Childers on December 15, 1950 in Irving. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2007. Buddy was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Ramona Miller and husband Robert; granddaughter, Jessica Lovett and husband John; grandson, Joshua Miller and wife Rhonda; great grandchildren, Jacob Wesley Lovett, Audra Danielle Miller, Jay Wesley Miller and Jillian Lorelai Lovett. Service will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Plymouth Park Baptist Church in the Sanctuary, 1714 North Story Road in Irving with Reverend Ken Branam officiating, followed by a burial service at 11:00 a.m., at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A.
