BUCK ROLAND BOGGESS, age 93, a resident of Fort Worth, Texas died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at an Irving care center. He was born October 4, 1921 in Fort Worth. Buck was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1980. He was a 70-year member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, and a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; his daughter, Pamela; a half-sister, Marie Thompson Newkirk; and by his parents. Survivors include his son, Jeff Boggess of Coppell; grandson Matthew Boggess of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and granddaughter, Blakely Boggess of Ames, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 30 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 31 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Carathers officiating. Interment service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
