Brenda Kerry Weiss, age 65, passed away August 27, 2021 in Irving TX. Born October 26, 1955 in Shreveport, LA to Ada Annette (long) and Narcise Joseph Kerry, she was a second mother to many. Brenda was very involved and devoted to her loving family. Providing the love, care and nourishment (banana pudding anyone) to all those in need. Brenda wrote poetry and was a true believer in Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Clair Weiss, Sr.; sister, Sharon Kerry and both her parents. Brenda is survived by her son, Terry Jackson and wife Beth of Runaway Bay, TX; daughter, Rachel Weiss of Irving; brother, David Kerry and wife Jacqueline of Wall, TX; sisters, Nelda Large and husband Chuck of Rowlett,TX and Karon Valentine and husband Gary of Forney, TX; grandson, Khayree; granddaughters, Khija and Frances. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday September 1st at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday September 2nd at First Baptist Church, Bridgeport, TX. Burial to follow at 2:00pm, Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. SERVICES
