Brenda Elmore Kelsey, age 73, passed away January 21, 2022. Born January 12, 1949 in Dallas, TX to Ruby (Matthews) and James F. Elmore she was a lifetime residence of Irving and Grand Prairie. With diverse interest and joy for life, Brenda enjoyed taking cruises, traveling to a variety of exotic locations, fishing, gambling and shopping all the way. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Gregory; brothers, Bert Elmore, Sylvester Elmore and Leroy Elmore. Brenda is survived by her loving husband Jeffery Lee Kelsey; daughters, Sonya Lenee Boyd, Lisa Renee Williamson, and Trina Denee Childress; sister, Virginia Elmore Johnson; brother, Jimmy Elmore and wife Kathy; granddaughter, Crystal Marie Nelson; grandsons, Shadow Stone Boyd and Cody Christopher Boyd. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 26th at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services 3:00 PM Thursday the 27th at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. SERVICES
