Bobby Bacak, age 60, a resident of Irving, Texas, died on Monday, May 23, 2016 at a local hospital. Born April 29, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert John Bacak, Sr. and Ruth Blackburn Bacak. He attended Nimitz High School. Bobby married Donna Berrier on July 23, 1977 in Irving. He was a mechanic for the City of Irving for 25 years and was a member of the Adult Softball Association of Irving. Bobby is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, DaRhonda Swallow and husband Michael of Marquez, Texas; son, Michael Bacak and wife Heidi of Irving; eight grandchildren, Mikayla, Jaxson, Alyssa, Alex, Ryan, Avery, Reese, and Addison; brothers Roger Bacak and wife Kim and Cary Bacak and wife Penny. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Reggie Fann in 1979. The family received friends on May 26th at Donnellys Colonial Funeral home. Graveside service took place on Friday, May 27 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with Student Pastor Colin Hairston officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
