Blanche House, age 91, a resident of Joshua, Texas for four years, formerly of Irving, Texas from 1951 to 2006, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at home. She was born August 16, 1918 in Opelika, Texas to Eddie F. and Ada Gartman Corley. Blanche was formerly employed as a cafeteria worker at Irving ISD, and she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by her husband, William Carl House in April, 1975 and her daughter, Mary Odom in October, 2009, she is survived by her son, Billy House of Joshua; grandchildren, Billy House, Jr., Johnny House, Melody Cochran, Melissa Domyanic, David House, Michael House, T. J. Odom, Laurie Holcomb; sixteen great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Jackson officiating. Graveside service 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at Red Hill Cemetery in Henderson County, Texas
