BILLY LEWIS STROUD, age 88, of Midlothian, Texas (formerly of Irving), passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. Bill was the most kind, loving, generous and wonderful man youd ever meet. He was the best Daddy & Papa God could have ever blessed his family with and words cannot express the void his absence leaves. Bill was adored and is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter & son-in-law Debbie & Brad Price; grandsons, Brett & wife Rachael and Blake & wife Ashley; and great-grandson, Bodie, who was the light of Papas life, and he was excited to find out on Christmas that he has another great-grand baby on the way! Bill is also survived by numerous loved ones & friends. He served in the United States Navy before beginning a 25 year career as a detective for the Dallas Police Department where he retired. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9th from 6:00-8:00pm and services will be held, Wednesday, January 10th at 9:00 am at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. Burial will follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. SERVICES
