BILLY LEVON LEE, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 20, 2010. He was born January 15, 1937 in Avery, Texas to Clarence William and Detta Hutchinson Lee. Billy spent most of his life as a resident of Irving, Texas. He owned several businesses during his life, and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Clarence Lee, Jr. and Harold Lee, he is survived by his children, Cheryl Grimes and husband Bryan of Cedar Hill, Laura Melton and husband Duane of Ennis, Scott Lee and wife Shanna of Quinlan and Joanna Spinks and husband David of Grand Prairie; ten grandchildren, Christina Medellin and husband Danny, Cody Stafford, Kristopher Melton, Chad Melton and wife Sara, Jake Melton, Hunter Lee, Hayden Lee, Hannah Lee, Logan Spinks and Connor Spinks; six great grandchildren, Kyle Medellin, Taylor Medellin, Bryce Medellin, Andrew Melton, Elijah Melton and Rebecca Melton; brothers, Charles Lee and wife Vernia of Denton, Doyle Lee and wife Nelda of Grand Prairie and Mike Lee and wife Sharla of Saginaw; sister-in-law, Gayle Lee of Dekalb; mother of his children and friend, Pat Lee; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
