Bill Frank Day, Sr. October 20, 1930- November 24, 2023 Bill Frank Day, Sr., age 93, passed away on November 24, 2023, in Irving. He was born to Charles and Hattie (Aucutt) Day on October 20, 1930, in Sweetwater, Texas. He was raised in Gorman, and began his career as a printer in Eastland, Texas. He later moved to Dallas and opened Kustom Kwik Print in Irving in 1974. After 30 years he handed the business over to his son, Billy, and his grandson, Derek, still operates the family business today. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, practical advice, and most of all his love for his family. He was a wonderful grandfather and great- grandfather and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his former wife, Helen (Alford) Sizelan, and mother of his children; grandchildren, Layla Day, Derek Day and Melissa Emmert and husband Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Seth Sensel, Levi Day, Pixie Day, William Emmert and Olivia Day-Akin; and great-great grandchildren, all of Irving. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sons Billy Frank Day, Jr. and Thomas Charles Day, and sisters Joan Butler and Janice Burns. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. SERVICES
