Billie Kelly Owens, age 78, a lifetime resident of Irving, Texas, died Monday, March 15, 2010 in Irving. She was born December 5, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Earl James and Opal Hitt Roberson. Billie was a department manager at Sanger-Harris, retiring after 36 years. She was Past President and member of VFW Post 2494, member of the Ladies Auxiliary and served for the Veterans Hospital. Survivors include her son, Tim Kelly and wife Tracy of Flower Mound; daughter, Tonja and husband Kevin Rhule of Virginia; grandchildren, Brennan, Derek, Ryan, Rhiana, Teresa; and sister, Joann Wood. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2010 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Osborne officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
