Bill Epperson, a resident of Irving, Texas since 1973, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the age of 81. Born April 6, 1935 in Henderson, Texas to William Dana Epperson, Sr. and Helen Mitchell Epperson. He married Margaret Whittenberg on August 29, 1969. Bill worked as a manager for the US Postal Service for over 30 years. Bill was a member of First Baptist Church Dallas and a North Texas State University Alumni. Preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Crow and a sister, Carolyn Heuermann. Bill is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter Melissa Moon of Irving; grandchildren, Zoe and Zachary Moon; sisters, Peggy Callaway of Trinidad, Texas, Sandra Matteucci and husband Arthur of Montana and Janis Graham and husband Glenn of Clifton, Texas. Memorials can be made in Bills name to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.spca.org. This was one of the charities that he faithfully supported for years, among others. A Memorial service will be held on, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road, Irving, TX 75060. A reception and fellowship will help immediately following the service in the BEC Center of Oak View Baptist Church.
