Betty Lou (Bilson) Townsley (Mimi) born April 4, 1944, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2018. Betty was married to Forest Wayne Townsley on February 25, 1995. Betty was predeceased by her father Colonel John G. Bilson of the United States Air Force and her mother Betty Ruth Hanks. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. Betty has 10 children; Barbara Ruth, Mavrone Louise, Lorna Marie, Identical twin girls (stillborn), Christopher Charles, John Michael, Fraternal twin boys Matthew William & Thomas Eugene and Bonnie Joanna. She has 27 grandchildren; Jared, Alicia, Richard, Amber, Cherry, Dawn, Melanie, James, Alyssa, Amanda, Charlie, Mitchel, Matthew, Abriel, Chris Jr., Rachael, Isaiah, Sara, Sophia, Devon, Emma, Zaiden, Hudson, Sadie, Bliss, Micah and Caleb. She has 22 great-grandchildren; Lexus, Destiny, Ashlyn, Tyler, Summer, Lily, Giuseppe (Kai), Rylie, Tristyn, Austyn, Suttyn, Evy, Lylah, Simon, Aubrey, Bailyn, Regan, Savannah, Adysen, Maddie, Mackenzie and Mason. Betty had a long battle with Dementia and passed peacefully with her husband and family by her side. Her final wishes will be carried out by Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 Airport Freeway Irving, Texas. Her interment will be at DFW National Cemetery. Her Wake is April 4, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Her Funeral Service is April 5, 2018 with Visitation from 9:00am - 10:00am, Service from 10:00am - 10:30am followed by procession to the cemetery. All who loved Mimi are invited to attend and pay their respects. Lunch will be served from 12:30pm - 2:30pm at Abuelos Mexican Restaurant 850 Airport Freeway Hurst, Texas.
