BETTY JO SEELY, age 89, a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana formerly of Irving, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Shreveport. Born May 9, 1924 in Texarkana, Texas, she was the daughter of James H. Cosby and Hazel Hicks Cosby. Betty was a former switchboard operator and receptionist at Kroger Company in Irving. Preceded in death by her brother, James Cosby in 1972 and by her husband, Bobby Ray Seely in 2010, she is survived by her daughter, Amelia Heil and husband Bob of Dewey, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Young and husband Bill of Shreveport; grandchildren, Lori Parrish of Cedar Hill and Michelle Dingman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Kylie Dingman, Jessa Milner, Ashton Gacsal and Drake Gacsal. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
