Betty Sue Ryals a long-time resident of Irving, Texas passed away October 23, 2016, at the age of 80. She died peacefully in her home, surrounded by family. Betty was retired from Johnson Controls. She loved antiquing, garage and estate sales. She enjoyed travel, especially to Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Franklin James Ryals, Sr., her father Fred Alton Irons of Irving, Texas, her mother Verna Odell Irons of Irving, Texas and her brother David Andrew Irons of Orange, Texas. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, son Freddie Duane Ryals and son-in-law Jerry Garay of Arlington, Texas, daughter Terri Ryals Hinkle and son-in-law John Kevin Hinkle of Bozeman, Montana and son Franklin James Ryals, Jr. of Irving, Texas, Grandchildren; Franklin Tyler Ryals, Allison Michelle Hinkle, Aaron Joseph Ryals, Rachel Nicole Hinkle and great-grandchild Presley James Ryals. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Faye Westbrook of Irving, Texas and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services were held at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home on October 27, 2016 with interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Garden Cemetery, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas.
