Betty Jean Rodgers, 86, a long-time resident of Bedford, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Born March 24, 1934 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Harold Milton Miller and Mary Lou Hanlon Miller. She was a retired real estate agent and property manager. She married Kennith Rodgers July 7, 1978. He preceded her in death February 16, 1998. Survivors include her children, Gregory Ridgway and wife Michele, Donna Smith and husband Kelly, and Michael Duane Ridgway and wife Lesli; a sister, Leslyn Brady; nine grandchildren Victoria Michele Nicholson, Robert Martin Ridgway, Jennifer Lynn Ridgway, Garrett Wayne Ridgway, Laura Michelle Ciardetti, Patrick Ryan Smith, Dakota Ridgway, Cara Lea Ridgway, and Max Ridgway; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kennith, and two siblings, Martha, and Harold, Jr. A private family burial service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
