BETTY ODELL MILLER, age 72, resident of Irving for 33 years, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her home. Born October 3, 1937 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of George Beach Anderson and Odell Ruby Hooser Anderson. She was a homemaker and was Baptist. She married Bethal D. Miller, August 2, 1976 in Chickasha, OK. He preceded her in death February 21, 1997. Survivors include her daughter Marliece McRae of Sherman, Texas; three sons, Terry Soward and wife Brenda of Van Alstyne, TX, Robert Soward of Irving, Carl Soward and wife Benita of Irving; step-son, Mark Miller Langer and wife Anka; a sister Sharon Williams of Chickasha, OK; a brother, Joe Benny Anderson of Chickasha, OK; 11 grandchildren, Melissa Eason, Sarah McRae, Sean McRae, Jesse Soward, Wes Soward, Tasha Soward, Tonya Lard, Susan Lovejoy, Steven Lovejoy, Laura Langer, and Anna Langer; and eight great grandchildren, Anikah Eason, Nathaniel Eason, Sydney Eason, Malachi Valdez, Accalia Valdez, Klowie Lard, Preston Lard, and Camryn Soward. The family will receive friends at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 2:00 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010. A graveside funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK.
