Betty Lou Hosea, born May 22, 1935 in Henderson, TX, passed away October 20, 2022 in Irving, TX. Mrs. Hosea retired from Hunt Oil Co. in 1994 after 32 years as a computer programmer. She was proud of her accomplishments and was always a happy person. She was preceded in death by her parents, Crim and Truman Goodlett of Groom, TX; her husband of 37 years, Jim Hosea; and sister and brother in-law, Marti and Jay Kirk. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Lacey of Irving; son, Larry Jim Shipman and his wife Beth of Minnesota; grandchildren, Luke Shipman and family of North Dakota and Laura Atchison and family of Minnesota, as well as those who looked up to her as MeMaw and Cha Cha. Betty will be missed by her Hunt Oil friends and many others. Special thanks to all of her caregivers for all the support over the years. "She may have grown old in age, but not in heart."
