Betsy Mena Rodriguez, 54, of Irving, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home. Born January 2, 1957 in Chiapas, Mexico, she moved to Irving in 1995. She married Guadalupe Rodriguez, Jr. December 2, 1995 in Lewisville, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include her husband Guadalupe Rodriguez, Jr. of Irving; children Arnoldio Lucio Mena, Carlos Alberto Salazar Mena and Erika Rueda Mena of Mexico, Samuel Salazar Mena of Irving, Mark Adam Rodriguez of Richardson, and Christopher M. Rodriguez of Garland; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Dela Cruz of Justin, Febe Mena Ceron of Mexico; and a brother Obed Mena Ceron of Mexico. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Monday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia, 7715 Denton Drive, Dallas, Texas 75235. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
