BERT HOWARD WELLS, age 69, a longtime resident of Irving, Texas, died Friday, September 30, 2011 in Irving. Born February 14, 1942 in Wylie, Texas, he married Teresita Salao on April 14, 1973 in California. Bert retired from National Chem Search and from the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Wells, he is survived by wife, Teresita of Irving, sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Jeanann Wells of Lewisville, Todd and Cheryl Wells of Illinois, Bruce and Adrienne Moss of Mansfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Brian Wong of California, Marilyn and Mohammed Foukih of Irving, Tammy and Matt Hood of Farmers Branch; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Linda Harrison of Irving. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the funeral home. Service is 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 3rd at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, October 4th at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.
