Benny L Bunn, 78, of Irving, Texas, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 21, 1946 to Bennie Edward and Velma Ann Lovelace Bunn.

Benny enjoyed a fulfilling career as a plumber for almost 50 years, 26 of those years working for Anchor Plumbing Co in Dallas and the remaining years owning his own business, Double B Plumbing.

In his personal life, Benny loved his family, watching any kind of sports (especially if his kids or grandkids were playing), hunting, and fishing. His favorite outdoor memories were the yearly trips to Colorado with Monroe, Barry, Chris, Eric, David, Jerry, Greg, Gary, Mike, James, Steve, Jim, and sometimes others. He considered his greatest accomplishment his 56-year marriage to Kay and the pride and love he had for his children and grandchildren.

Benny is survived by his wife Kay, daughter Kendra Renae, son Jordan Scott (wife Serena), daughter Tara Lyn Hammett (husband Grant), brother Barry Layne Bunn, grandchildren Abbi, Jaxon, Ella, Will, and Livi as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Benny's memory will forever be cherished by Kay, his children, and all family and friends.
